During the holidays, I received Addy’s Sewing Set (which I was thrilled to receive), and now, I feel as if it’s high time for a review!
Firstly, the set has 9 pieces: a dress, an apron, scissors, a tape measure, a pincushion, two boots, and two socks.
The dress is blue and purple plaid. I love these colors! They pop excellently, especially against Addy’s complexion. The apron, which is white and has two pockets, has perfectly matching purple ribbon trim. It’s so perfect! Plus, the pockets can also fit things, such as the scissors and tape measure.
The scissors, tape measure, and pincushion are too-too cute! Probably my favorite from these three are the scissors. They’re plastic, with pretty scroll-work, and are silver. The second favorite would be the tape measure, all silky and with real inch measurements. I don’t hate the pincushion, but the flocked bird, while cute, is a tad odd, and the pins don’t look totally real to me.
And finally, the socks and boots! The socks are just plain white knee socks. I like these socks. They do their job quite well. The boots are white and black, with shiny black patent toes and fake black laces. They velcro in the back. Don’t forget, the laces go inside!
Now for a mite of pictures:
All in all, I really love Addy’s Sewing Set and definitely recommend it!!!
