Alas, alack, a decision has been made.
The title probably clued you into this sad truth, but I have made a decision to leave Dolls and Then Some.
While I still love my dolls dearly, I have school to attend and another blog, my writing blog. I realized that running two blogs is a crazy idea, and wasn’t working for me. So I’m off to the next big thing! Before I leave though, I thought I’d treat y’all to a few pictures of Kaya I took recently.
If you still wanna check me and my awesome, come over to my writing and book blog, Short Girl Writes (www.shortgirlwrites.wordpress.com). It’s sure to be bumping!
Love y’all and miss y’all,
Maggie is my oldest doll, seeing as I got her in December of 2010. She’s been dragged about the country, to the grocery store, on trips…many a place. She’s even been to Hawaii! And, in honor of my oldest darling doll, I thought I’d show some old photos:
Chilling in the car:
Just, ya know, at a hotel, on a casual vacay:
Outside, exploring and being cute:
Cheering on football teams with her best friend Addy!
Addy and Maggie as gymnasts:
Hanging upside down, silly dolly!
I love Maggie dearly and I hope y’all like her too 🙂
Hello, dear readers! Here at DATS, we’ve been a tad busy, what with the end of the school year, exams, and the beginning of summer vacation (and an annoying bout of allergies). But we’re here, and here to update you!!!
Kaya is dressed (and packed) for a photostory idea I had. My only hint is that its working title is “The Vigilante Cellist”.
Maggie is also dressed for my idea 😀
Complete with a fancy hairstyle!
Addy is, of course, cute as ever and a total princess.
Currently trying to figure out what to do about Lucy’s terrible hair 😦 Wig? Cute pixie cut/shorter bob? Suggestions/opinions?
My live-action Mattel Cinderella is back in her rightful dress and so pretty. A little bit of doll organization occurred, and so she is back in her beautiful gown 😀
Well, that’s about it for happenings here. Hopefully I can kick off my photostory series and maybe do some crafts and hairstyles! Hope y’all are having a great summer!
One of my grandmother’s friends made me some gorgeous doll clothes, and one of them was this beautiful dress that strongly reminds me of princesses. It is so well made, and the back has cute buttons and snaps, and everything is just so well sewn! I love it! And Addy looks especially lovely in this dress, so I took a few pictures of her 🙂
Isn’t it just perfect!
Us here at Dolls and Then Some would like to wish everyone a Happy Easter! (and if you don’t celebrate Easter, Happy World Theatre Day!)
Enjoy some pictures of my dolls all dressed up and fancy in celebration (Isn’t Kaya’s hair cute?)
Have a safe, fun Sunday!
Hi guys! So, I’ve had Addy since January of 2013, and I thought it would be fun to revisit some old photographs of her 🙂
First up, here’s a picture from when I went to NYC in August 2013:
The two gymnastics are from September 2013, when I decided that she was a gymnast 😛
From a fall photoshoot in September 2013:
Around Halloween in 2013, Addy was a princess!!!
Well, I hope you guys enjoyed seeing some of the early days of Addy!
*Mean Girls voice* On Leap Day, we wear green!
Happy Leap Day, y’all!!!
